Launched in 2023, GD Goenka, Ratia is situated on a centrally located site with easy access from [ Fatehabad, Tohana, Bhuna, Nagpur, Aherwan ] thereby making it the only renowned school that has a curriculum which focuses on holistic child development in such a remote location. We aim to provide easy access to world class high-quality education for children residing in even the most remote areas. We wish to enable learners to construct their own meaning, to have a strong sense of identity, and to be creative, resilient, and inquiry driven citizens.
As part of our program, children are given the tools and support to steer through their own distinct paths of discovery. Our pedagogical philosophy is inspired by international best practices in early years education to ensure that toddlers realise their fullest potential.
Our Parent Toddler program offers engaging sessions designed for toddlers aged 9 to 21 months, accompanied by their parents, held thrice a week on our campus. Parents have the flexibility to choose between attending one or two days per week based on their schedule. The program includes activities that are especially designed to nurture the intellectual, social, creative, and emotional development of the child. Fostering these skills at an early age is crucial for cultivating a socially adept child capable of forming meaningful connections within society and possessing a strong emotional intelligence.
Our responsive Playgroup Program is the first independent adventure for children. The program is designed to encourage the growth of independence, social awareness, sensory skills, and language acquisition in children. The group meets everyday from Monday to Friday wherein they are encouraged to participate in-group activities which helps to develop a healthy social self, who is able to form deeper connections in the society
In our Pre-K program, children spend their days at school immersed in active and purposeful learning across different areas including literacy, math, science, art and design, and pretend play. Our Pre-K curriculum is designed to encourage a balance of child initiated and educator facilitated activities. It offers children a variety of choices within a carefully prepared indoor and outdoor environment.
Kindergarten children are confident in spirit, infinite in resources, and very eager to learn and explore. For children this age, everything is possible. Our Kindergarten program recognizes that children will soon be entering grade-school; hence it is vital that we equip them with the resources needed to succeed in school. Our program is based on the belief that children are competent learners who are eager to explore the world around them. The program runs for about 5 hours everyday wherein educators work collaboratively with children to implement a program that meets curricular outcomes while engaging children in their interests and talents.
