TRANSPORT

We have our own fleet of about 30 modern buses and small vehicles, which make the journey to and from school very comfortable. Teachers escort our students to ensure their safety and comfort. Our vehicles provide almost door to door service within a radius of 30 kms from school in all directions.

SCHOOL VAN RULES

Transport facilities are provided for the convenience of the students, although it is not an obligatory service of the school.

Applications for school transport, transport cancellation, change of bus stops, change of bus route etc. should be submitted to school Transport In-charge one month in advance.

Buses will be available only on the routes and at stops fixed by the school and any request for new stops will not be entertained. However, the school reserves the right to make any change if found inevitable.

Students travelling by the school bus should always be in proper school uniform and in possession of the school ID card failing which, they will not be allowed to board the bus.

Students must report at the scheduled stop 5 minutes before the bus arrival time.

Students must travel only by the bus allocated to them.

No student will be allowed to board a bus other than the one allotted, unless he/she has written permission from the school authorities.

If a student wants to get down at a different bus stop, he/she should submit a request signed by the parent to the Principal/Transport Officer and obtain special permission for the same.

The bus facility will be cancelled for those students who damage any bus fittings or indulge in acts of misbehaviour/indiscipline in the bus.

In case of misbehaviour in the bus, the teacher/driver is authorized to take immediate necessary step and report the matter to the Principal/Transport in-charge for further action, if necessary. Such a student may be taken off the bus.

Eating, drinking or playing any game in the bus is strictly forbidden.

All our school buses are fully equipped with first aid box/firefighting equipment. As you are aware the school takes every precaution for the safety of the children, however, the school is not responsible for situations beyond their control.

Whenever there is an after-school bus route, the buses will cover only a few common stops on the main roads in that area. The regular route will not ply on such occasions.

Parents are requested to forward all requests regarding transport to the Transport in-charge. It may not be feasible for us to accept all requests but still we try to accommodate maximum.

Parents of children from classes Nursary to V should come/send a responsible person to receive their ward from the bus stop failing which the child will be brought back to school.

Please ensure that, under no circumstances, parent will not board the bus to discuss his/her concern, for that he/she should come to school and meet with the school authorities.

TUCKSHOP

The School has a tuckshop within the campus. Course books (for all classes), stationery items and the school uniform can be purchased from here. For the convenience of parents and students, the shop remains open on all weekdays up to 2 o’clock.

CAFETERIA and SCHOOL CANTEEN

With all the academia and extracurricular that keeps everyone on the toes, the cafeteria and School canteen come as one big reason to chill. The cafeteria is professionally managed and the variety of ‘quick bites’ it offers is sure to tempt you in. Only healthy food is served at school canteen with as much attention to taste as to hygiene.

EXCELLENCE ROOM

We have a teachers’ resource room in the school where teachers explore each and every possibility to update themselves with latest information/ knowledge in their subjects.

BRILLIANCE ROOM

The school has created a zone for brilliant students in addition to school library to study in spare time where they can utilize their time in better way.

SICK BAY (MEDICAL AID ROOM)

A well-equipped clinic with a qualified doctor and nurse to carry out routine check-ups and provide first aid medical attention immediately in case there is any emergency.

R.O. PLANT

Reverse Osmosis water treatment plant ensures that our children get pure drinking water and do not fall prey to water borne diseases.

WATER COOLERS

Separate water coolers of ample capacity on each floor/each block have been provided to make safe and cold drinking water available during summer season.
